Family & friends call me Day. She loves all things travel and has visited 40 countries and 190 cities. She is very excited to now be a hotel host. casaJOMO.art has been in operation for 2 years with She enjoys meeting new people and learning about new cultures. She is mixed with 4 races, 6 ethnicities and speaks 7 languages. An engineer to the bone who enjoys art, history, fashion, design, and music.

wo ist Rückzug?
Ihr charmantes Zuhause in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro
Abgeschieden vom Trubel in einer ruhigen Straße auf den Hügeln von Santa Teresa, oberhalb der Buchten und Strände, liegt casaJOMO. Das Anwesen wurde 1930 im spanischen Architekturstil erbaut, was sich im rustikalen Wohnkonzept mit fließenden Übergängen zwischen Innen- und Außenbereich deutlich widerspiegelt. Wunderschöne Hartholzböden, Terrakottafliesen und weiße Wände erstrecken sich über drei Ebenen mit drei Aufenthaltsbereichen.
Santa Teresa gilt als sicherste Wohngegend Rios und ist die Heimat der berühmten Escadaria Selaron (Spanische Treppe). Von dem New Yorker Magazin als "absolut sexiestes Viertel Rios" bezeichnet, ist es ein Künstlerbezirk. Nur einen Block entfernt befinden sich Bar do Gomes, Taxistand, Lebensmittelgeschäft, Apotheke mit Geldautomat, Restaurants, Bars, Posto de Saude (Gesundheitsposten) und vieles mehr.
Nur wenige weitere Häuserblocks entfernt liegen alle Restaurants, Geschäfte und Bars der Innenstadt von Santa Teresa. Mit der Straßenbahn BONDE erreichen Sie bequem die Innenstadt! Bohemian, künstlerisch und charmant! casaJOMO ist eines der zentralsten B&Bs in Santa Teresa!

In jedem Zimmer gibt es europäische und/oder US-Steckdosen. Bei Bedarf können Sie Adapter verwenden.
Der Flughafen Santos Dumont (SDU) ist der nächstgelegene zu uns. Etwa 15 Minuten.

Der größere internationale Flughafen Rio Galeão – Tom Jobim (GIG) ist 30 Minuten von uns entfernt.
Wenn Sie aus einem Land mit Denguefieber fliegen, ist eine Gelbfieberimpfung erforderlich. Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob Sie aus einem Land mit Denguefieber abfliegen.
Die Visaerteilung für US-Bürger, Kanadier und Australier wurde auf April 2025 verschoben. Andere Herkunftsländer prüfen bitte.
Alleinreisende werden feststellen, dass Brasilien sehr leicht zu bereisen ist. Bitte achten Sie auf auffälligen Schmuck, große Taschen und Absätze. Wir sind ein entspanntes Strandziel. Santa Teresa ist das sicherste Viertel in Rio de Janeiro.
Wir empfehlen dringend eine Reiseversicherung.
Leider ist bei uns nur der Hin- und Rücktransfer von/zu den genannten Flughäfen inbegriffen. Es sind keine Flüge enthalten.
Unsere Retreats sind sehr gefragt, daher können wir ohne Anzahlung keinen Platz reservieren. Bitte kontaktieren Sie uns bei Bedenken oder Fragen, damit wir auf Sie und Ihre Umstände eingehen können.
Wir haben nachhaltige Maßnahmen umgesetzt.

1) Kein einziges Mal Plastik verwenden. Das bedeutet, dass wir keine Kühlriegel mit Mineralwasser auf Lager haben. Wir haben jedoch einen großen 20-Liter-Wasserkrug im Essbereich, in dem Sie so oft nachfüllen können, wie nötig. Wir möchten, dass alle ausreichend Flüssigkeit zu sich nehmen.

2) Wir bitten Gäste, die Klimaanlage, Ventilatoren und Lichter auszuschalten, wenn sie die Zimmer verlassen. Reduzieren wir den Verbrauch auf das, was wir brauchen.
Wir verfügen über Hochgeschwindigkeits-WLAN mit etwa 400–500 Mbit/s.

Hinweis: Wir haben keine Fernseher in den Zimmern. Fernseher würden Lärmbelästigung verursachen. Wir sind sehr ruhig und versuchen, eine friedliche Umgebung für alle aufrechtzuerhalten.
Aufgrund des Planungsaufwands und der Art der Veranstaltung sind 30 Tage vor der Buchung von Retreats keine Rückerstattungen oder Änderungen möglich.

MOBILITY
We cannot accommodate guests with mobility issues. The villa has many stairs, and the local streets have many hills and cobblestones. Thank you for considering this before you make your reservation.

HOUSE RULES
Smoking is permitted in outside areas only. There are no outside guests allowed at any time. Swimming pool is for daytime use only.
Quiet Time between 10pm - 8am
